Le 14 Juillet

By good fortune I happened to be in Paris on Bastille day, so I made my way from the hotel to watch the parade along the Champs Elysees.  It was very long and featured every kind of military group imaginable.  Of course it was crowded so I watched whilst standing on a cement column, as did those around me.  Very impressive.
