Up and away into Paris proper, walked to Notre Dame then on the Metro to the shops. Bought a pair of boots for myself. Jean a pair of black shoes and a pair of pink boots for Donna. It really was a beaut day with Donna there to speak French to all and helped all around. Took a train (lovely clean trains) to the Eiffel Tower and went up to the highest part. Beautiful views. Fun to try and pick up the known landmarks. Lovely little shops around the base of the tower. It's huge. Home to the hotel. Bought our tea on the way home from the train. Packed for our way home to Aussie.
