London via Baltimore

We reluctantly said goodbye to New York and took a van to JFK and then caught a plane to Baltimore, Maryland where we were to wait six hours for our flight to London.  We couldn't fly out of  New York because of all the extra air traffic with the celebrations, and even then we had a wait before we took off for Baltimore.
We were hoping to get to see the White House in Washington DC but there wasn't quite enough time to get there and back to the airport so we wandered around the inner harbour of Baltimore instead.  It seemed quite pretty, but of course not enough time to have a good look.
We finally left around 7pm for our six hour flight across the Atlantic.
