Went for a bus tour around Dublin and Nick pointed out the most important and historic places. Drove through 12000 acre zoo park and saw a few of the animals. Duke of Wellington statue, Guiness factory, 1192-1300 cathedral which McGuiness restored in 1500, the Lord Mayor's home, showground, Ambassadors to All Nations building. Lovely old building with Georgian architecture. Old city. No high rise whatsoever.
We had two hours to look around shops and then Jean and I came home on the bus and others stayed on in Dublin and came home by train.
In the afternoon I had a rest and Jean went walking around the shops of Bray where the Royal Hotel was situated.
